Beyond The Light Project

Beyond the Light Project's mission is to reduce and eliminate energy poverty. Our nonprofit provides the resources necessary to bring electricity to homes, works to train locals how to build and repair solar systems for their communities, and leaves behind a process to provide sustainable energy solutions and job creation. Key Objectives: * Eliminate harmful fumes from the indoor burning of dirty fuels * Extend hours of  learning for children and adults * Provide opportunities to gain skills and income outside the home * Provide access to communication with cellphone charging and a radio * Provide a method for portable lighting to allow for safety to walk outside at night * Provide low power refrigeration to allow for preservation of food and medicine
