Bet Shemesh Engines Ltd. (BSEL) was established in 1968 on the outskirts of Bet Shemesh, Israel, as a jet engine parts manufacturer, dealing with engine parts manufacturing, engines overhaul, and customer support. Fifty years later, BSEL is a market leader in its field, providing turbine engine parts and services to its worldwide customer base.
The BSEL Group operates in two sectors – the Engine Parts Sector – which includes manufacturing of Engines Parts – including designing, developing and manufacturing of engine parts; and the Engines Sector – which includes MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) and development of whole engines.
BSEL’s Engine Parts Sector is comprised of several activities throughout the production process of engine parts, performed in three main divisions (Manufacturing, Forging and Casting), carried out at both BSEL’s lead plant in Bet Shemesh, Israel, and also at its subsidiaries’ locations – at Livnica Preciznih Odlivaka (LPO) located in Ada, Serbia; and Carmel Forge Ltd., located in Haifa, Israel – both fully-owned subsidiaries of Bet Shemesh Engines.
BSEL’s Manufacturing Division includes machining of large round parts (Disks, Spacers), and fabrication of sheet metal parts (Flame-holders, Turbine Nozzles etc.).
BSEL’s Forging Division is led by Carmel Forge activity in the manufacturing of discs forgings for jet engines for aerospace (mainly turbine and compressor discs, cases and seals), via closed die forgings and ring-roller technologies and methods.
BSEL’s Casting Division includes vacuum and air melt of superalloys and investment casting (Turbine Blades and Vanes, various aerospace parts and other applications).
BSEL’s Engines Sector is led by BSEL’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Division, possessing nearly 50 years’ expertise and experience. Continuous support and working with the industry leaders (Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation) maintains the performance of BSEL‘s team at the highest standards possible
