At Ben's Farm Shop it's pretty clear that we're passionate about food!
From organic and free range to unsprayed but uncertified, what's important to us is that the produce we offer is a result of environmentally sustainable farming. We believe that good food should be simple, delicious and have a good story from field to fork, so we work closely with small, independent growers, producers and farmers who share our vision.
Ben's Farm Shop began life in 1984, when, frustrated by the quality of sausages on offer and the lack of willingness to pay a fair price for high welfare pork, Ben decided to try his hand at making sausages from the pigs reared on his family farm. Fast forward 36 years and we are proud to have expanded to four farm shops, two deli kitchen cafés, three butchers counters, a small but perfectly formed production kitchen and Ben's Wine & Tapas bar in Totnes.
Ben's is a great place to work and the people that we employ are the heart of our business. It's a friendly, informal culture with plenty of opportunity to try new things. If you love food, are a real people person and enjoy a challenge, we want to hear from you!
