Tamera H. Bennett is a wife, mom, lawyer, mediator, blogger, podcaster, and legal writer. 2018 marks 20 years she’s helped clients protect what they create by practicing trademark, copyright, entertainment law, and mediation in Texas and Tennessee.
Tamera has co-hosted more than 100 episodes of the Entertainment Law Update Podcast since 2009. And, she’s been honored to write for BILLBOARD magazine and the TEXAS LAWYER newspaper.
With an eye always toward resolution, Tamera also mediates intellectual property law cases.
Lawyer Tamera Bennett was the Secretary for the Texas Chapter of the Grammy Association and served two terms on their Board of Governors. She is a past chair of the State Bar of Texas Entertainment & Sports Law section and a former adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University.
Tamera is a frequent presenter/speaker for legal and business groups on topics surrounding the protection and licensing of trademarks, copyrights and music.
In the Summer of 2015, Tamera backpacked 100 miles over 10 days with her son's Boy Scout Troop. Tamera walked her first half-marathon in 2012 and is in training to walk her fifth half-marathon. Her goal is to walk a half-marathon in all 50 states.
