Benglore baptvic Management of developmental, emotional & behavioural disorders like intellectual disability, autism, ADHD, specific learning disorders, depression etc.Dr. Anupama completed her MBBS from AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore and went on to pursue her MD in Psychiatry from Fr Muller Medical College, Mangalore. She secured the 1st rank in the RGUHS University exams 2011. The inadequate and inappropriate care and management of children with psychiatric problems prompted her to get trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In order to advance her skills, she joined CMC, Vellore to pursue the 2 year Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is trained to diagnose and manage children with all forms of developmental disabilities which include mental retardation, autism, ADHD and learning disabilities as well as emotional disorders like depression, OCD, anxiety disorders, school refusal, medically unexplained bodily complaints and any form of behavior problems. She is also trained in therapies like behavior therapy, family therapy, cognitive therapy.
