Scott brings more than three decades of experience as a retail buyer at a number of major US retailers and was a founding member of Walmart’s first eCommerce business...Walmart Online. Scott also launched and scaled a number of business units within retail businesses large and small, including leading Sam’s Club to become one of the nation’s largest consumer electronics retailers to launching the Site Merchandising and Web Analytics functions for SamsClub.com.
With experience in international retail consulting within Walmart International, to serving as an Executive Professor and the Director of the Center for Retailing Studies at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, Scott has an unmatched breadth of experience and valuable perspective on the rapidly evolving omnichannel retail landscape.
Scott is the author of an upcoming book on Digital Merchandising and has served as a keynote speaker and panelist at numerous industry events.
