BENCHMARKS is established in early 1993.We first helped our clients on setting up ISO9000 quality management system, SPC (Statistical Process Control) system, and Internal Quality Control and Six Sigma Training. In the same year 1993, we started to provide professional 2-party auditing and Benchmarking services for overseas buyers (especially Toys buyers, Garments buyers, Electronic buyers) to monitor their manufacturing suppliers located in China and Southeast Asia. Our BENCHMARKS expertise ranges from supply capability, quality control, fire prevention, industrial safety and health, environmental, and code of business conduct.
Regarding audit history, BENCHMARKS conducted second party quality system audit and capability audit including fire prevention and social requirements such as prevention of using child labor, prison labor, control of juvenile workers, welfare, and human right matters. From the year 2000, our auditing services were extent to industrial safety and health matters. From the year 2002 and onward, our auditing covered environmental aspects based on the ICTI Checklist and Guidance so that the whole Code of Conduct Audit covering a full spectrum of fire prevention, environmental, safety and health,social requirements(child labor, prison labor, wages and compensation, working hours, social welfare, work union, etc.) based on the ICTI (International Council of Toy Industries) Criteria.
BENCHMARKS participated in the launching of ICTI Certification Program (under the CARE process) since the year 2002. By the end of 2003, Benchmarks becomes one of the accredited audit firms on the ICTI certification board to conduct third party certification audit. In 2015, the BENCHMARKS became the SMETA approved third party audit company.
