Battle Bird Productions are a small podcast studio with big dreams. Our flagship podcast, We Fix Space Junk, follows in the footsteps of radio sci-fi shows of the past, such as Journey into Space and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Beth Crane, writer of We Fix Space Junk, grew up listening to radio drama of all kinds. After completing a Master’s Degree in Scriptwriting she focused on the short play and sketch format, with her pieces being performed in short play festivals across London. Hedley Knights has been working as a Sound Engineer for over a decade, working in TV, music, film and live sound. With an obsessive attention to detail and a love of creating immersive sound, audio drama was a perfect match.
