Bass & Flinders is a family owned and operated distillery founded in 2009, with a focus on artisanal grape-based spirits and small batch production.
The first distillery to be established in the region, Bass & Flinders Distillery is now recognised as an integral part of the Mornington Peninsula. Inspired by the region’s abundance of wine, fruit and produce, their grape based spirits, fine brandies and liqueurs reflect a true sense of place.
Bass & Flinders use a traditional alembic pot still and proudly produce their own grape base-spirit 'eau de vie' in-house, through distillation of wine. This spirit is used across their single vineyard product range and is what gives their spirits a truly unique flavour profile.
Located at 40 Collins Road, Dromana, Bass & Flinders’ Distillery Door is open Friday-Sunday and public holidays. Their Distillery Door is also home to Australia’s original Gin Masterclasses experience and classes are conducted every weekend.
