Bartercoin is the modern adaptation of barter trading reinforced with blockchain technology, and is designed to disrupt the way online transactions take place today. Our aim is to revive the age-old method of trading, and make Bartercoin the most exchangeable cryptocurrency on the globe. Bartercoin is a hybrid coin that serves a twofold purpose. On the one hand we are a Cryptocurrency that provides a private, secure barter network with transaction costs that are far lower than those of existing barter or merchant payment systems. On the other hand we will enable businesses to facilitate trade through our Bartercoin app without the hassle and delay associated with the banking industry.
