Education, Preservation, Conservation.
Barn Hill Preserve is a USDA licensed mobile education program and free-flying Macaw rescue. Our goal is to educate the public about science with the use of live animal ambassadors.
Our enthusiastic public speakers tailor the presentation to the age of their audience and regulary present to students preK - 12th grade. Barn Hill Preserve's exotic animal education program is 100% FREE to both your students and school. We fund our free program by providing students the opportunity to purchase pictures with our live animal ambassadors.
Barn Hill Preserve is also committed to offering a home to free-flying Macaws that can no longer be cared for by their owners. Macaws can make difficult pets, and these birds can live up to 80 years with proper care and diet. Barn Hill Preserve is unique in our Macaw initiative in that we provide a forever home that allows the birds to free-fly throughout our preserve.
