We serve as the hub for all commercialization activities at UMass Chan Medical School – a world-class research institution in Worcester, Mass. Our breakthrough research includes the Nobel prize-winning discovery of RNA interference (RNAi) and gene therapies for rare diseases, including Canavan Disease, Tay-Sachs, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and more.
Our mission is to create a “bridge” between UMass Chan and the external life science ecosystem to support innovative research, protect intellectual property, and facilitate commercialization to help our community, the Commonwealth, and the world.
