B+R Maschinenbau

In 1976 Heribert Bellinghausen and Willi Ringen founded the company Bellinghausen and Ringen OHG. It started with seven employees to manufacture moulds and machines for finishing plastic products. From 1988 the company name has changed to B+R Maschinenbau GmbH, the focus has now been on blow moulding technology and rationalization. In 1990 Heinrich Schild took over the general management and set the focus on engineering and building machines. In 1999 following Heinrich Schild’s death Guido Schmitz took over as his successor. At this point B+R Maschinenbau GmbH had already employed 28 members of staff and still based in Oberpleis-Germany today, B+R has seen positive growth with now employing over 65 members of staff. Despite its down to earth mentality B+R has established itself successfully and is a leading supplier of special machines for the automotive industry and the packaging industry. Renowned companies around the world are counted among our customers. A significant part of B+R Automotive is the complete finishing process of plastic fuel tanks as well as of other general parts for the automotive industry, like the automatic inserting process into the mould, post cooling, deflashing, finishing, assembly and testing. B+R can offer the full post treatment process for blow and injection moulded parts. Machine concepts can be dedicated or robotic, manually or fully automated. Our material handling sector delivers flexible, robotic based solutions for warehouse automation in a wide variety of industries. This includes for example case packing, palletizing, depalletizing up to complete warehouse automation and commissioning systems. The strength and advantages of our technologies and developments applying especially for frequent size changes, instable and critical products, as well as complex mix load case packing and mix load palletizing. Through the establishment of our Asian branch in Thailand and a North American partner we extended our local service.
