Bombay Gymkhana established in 1875, is one of the premiere gymkhanas (sports arena) in the city of Mumbai (Bombay), India. This iconic institution is situated at the junction of two major avenues, the Esplanade (now Mahatma Gandhi Road) and Hornby Road (now Dadabhai Naoroji Road), an area surrounded by heritage structures. Originally built as a British-only club it was designed by English architect, John Adams.
