BKB Africa
We are BKB Africa. Our main office is in Cape Town, South Africa. We are a campaigns agency. We design campaigns for government, corporate clients and civil society organisations. We always focus on themes that we can put our hearts in, themes with strong social relevance.
BKB Africa was established in early 2009 and is modeled closely on its successful precursor and partner in The Netherlands, Booij, Klusman and Van Bruggen. Or BKB in short. Since its establishment in 1999, BKB has developed into a dependable international campaigns agency, with around 20 employees.
Among its clients are the European Commission, the Dutch Cabinet, several Dutch Ministries, provinces, several cities (e.g. Rotterdam, Amsterdam) , Shell, KLM, AEGON, ICRC, UNDP and many civil society organisations.
As the new kid on the block and with its roots in fertile South African soil, BKB Africa is a young and dynamic company, socially motivated, always thinking ahead and highly experienced in setting up comprehensive campaigns.
We are your creative brains trust, thinking along with you and challenging set conventions and ideas. We offer campaigns, research, strategic communications and media advice, events and training.
With our partner BKB in the Netherlands, BKB Africa disposes over a large international, cross-sectoral and cross-political network of key decision-makers in government, international organisations, business, civil society and grass roots.
Through BKB daughter company Anker Solutions, BKB Africa offers specialised politico-strategic research and consultancy services, focusing on qualitative and quantitative analysis and strategic advice. Anker Solutions is based in Amsterdam and New York.
BKB Africa will soon set up a BKB Africa Academy. The Academy is a breeding-ground for the young and ambitious. BKB Africa lets them share in its network and expertise, in turn gaining new insights from the experience of these up-and-coming talents. Through the Academy, selected youth will obtain skills to better communicate and voice their opinions and dreams for a better South Africa.
With its Dutch sister founded in 2000, followed by a second sister in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the BKB Africa Academy will be the third branch on the BKB Academy tree.
