Ayako School of Ballet has an excellent staff, all of which are professionally trained dancers and many of whom trained at Ayako School of Ballet as students Current staff members perform regularly with Ballet San Jose, Menlowe Ballet and Oakland Ballet as soloist and principal members. Students are encouraged to succeed in both their academic and dance careers. ASB students earn acceptance to universities known for their academic and fine arts programs, including : Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Columbia, Duke, Chapman, Emory, St. Mary's, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley and Tufts. ASB Alumni have worked professionally with American Ballet Theatre, Ballet San Jose, Colorado Ballet, Diablo Ballet, Duch National Ballet, Moving Arts, ODC/SF, Oakland Ballet, Smuin Ballet SF, Oakland Raiders and Disneyland.Numerous performance experience opportunity provide the foundation for future success. ASB prides itself in creating a supportive, safe environment for young dancers to explore their passion. Established in 1976. For over 35 years, Ayako School of Ballet has been bringing the art of Classical Ballet, Modern Dance and Jazz to local bay area communities.
ASB students have been ranked and internationally recognized at prestigious competitions such as Prix de Lausanne, Jackson International Ballet Competition and Youth America Grand Prix.
