We are building infrastructure in Nepal to high throughput phenotyping of plant pathogens using remote sensing and molecular techniques. Due to climate change and globalization, the emergence and spread of novel plant pathogens are eminent. Hence, containment of the novel pathogens will be crucial for national food security. Therefore, to get a handle on the emergence of novel plant pathogens, we are building tools using recent advancements in biotech and computer science to rapidly detect plant pathogens and effectively contain them. Similarly, we are also building a supply chain and core technologies for dutch style glasshouse farming in Nepal.
