The Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA) believes Australia is well placed to be among the leaders in global moves to make our communities more liveable, more sustainable and more technologically empowered. We recognise the importance of putting people first – viewing things from a local perspective while also drawing on international experience.
ASCA was originally created as the Broadband Alliance by people primarily involved in Local Government. Our ambition is to grow the organisation, broaden its focus and enhance its role as a sector leader by engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including federal and state governments.
ASCA's board and members hold significant roles in organisations committed to creating smart communities for the benefit of every Australian.
