The Australian Health Design Council is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation established in 2011 that provides a forum for all professionals involved in the Australian health design sector to share knowledge, develop expertise, foster research and enhance skills in health facility planning, design and management across both the private and public sectors.
Our mission is to be the lead professional organisation sharing knowledge, information, technology, research innovation and experience to promote consistency and enhance the quality and effectiveness of health facility design across all projects (in both the public and private sectors).
We thrive to be the prime professional body that facilitates networking between health design professionals across Australia.
Our Vision is to be a forum where people can share knowledge and expertise in the field of health facility design.
AHDC is in close collaboration with health facility design and construction technology groups across Australia and New Zealand and actively seeks membership from all stakeholders. Members of AHDC have to opportunity to shape our industry and contribute to improving the quality and sustainability of health facility design.
