Who we are We are a cosmopolitan team of Chinese and Westerners, with a passion for bringing cultures together. Based in the stunning WangJing SOHO complex designed by Zaha Hadid, we bring together Chinese families and overseas friends to share their customs and experiences. What we do We offer young Western adults the opportunity to immerse themselves in modern life in China, learn Mandarin and experience Chinese culture while living with a Chinese host family. In return, they help the host family kids improve their English skills and learn about Western culture. What makes us different is our focus on scholastic quality. For the au pairs, we ensure that that their Mandarin classes can lead to HSK qualifications and the cultural seminars deepen their understanding and passion for both traditional and modern China. We also coach them on their tutoring skills and ensure they centre on the best way to interact with the host family child. For the families, we track and measure the progress of their child, offer a wide range of reading and support materials, and ensure that both the child and the whole family benefit from the cross-cultural knowledge of the au pair. We organize weekly seminars on subjects including calligraphy, traditional painting, tea ceremony, paper cutting, mahjong and martial arts, etc. How we do it Our program values: share, learn, experience.
