Atlas Lens Co. (atlaslensco.com) is a growing modern anamorphic cinema lensmaker and manufacturer. Our mission is to democratize anamorphic cinema by empowering creative image-makers in creating work that’s more interesting, more personal, and more rewarding. Founded in 2016 by designer Forrest Schultz and cinematographer Dan Kanes, our vision is to build anamorphic lenses that are optically pleasing, mechanically robust, and available to meet the needs of modern cinematographers worldwide. Headquartered in Burbank, CA, we design and manufacture affordable, high-performance tools that deliver vintage aesthetics in modern mechanics.
