Theme Investing differs from the traditional asset allocation approach, as it allocates portions of the portfolio to investment themes and long term economic trends, choosing financial instruments as a consequence of the thematic choices; the resulting composition of the portfolio is a consequence, and not a driver, of the investment strategies.
