The Association of Travel Management Companies (ATMC) is a travel industry organisation that aims to represent and promote business travel throughout Australia. Membership of ATMC is open only to fully licensed travel agencies with a core focus on the provision of Travel Management services to Corporate Customers.
ATMC members control over $6.5 billion in corporate travel expenditure, employ 3500 professionals in every state and territory in Australia and collectively serve 25,700 large and small companies Australia-wide. ATMC is committed to the development of close working relationships with the Australian Federation of Travel Agents, as well as major travel industry suppliers including airlines, hotel companies and car rental providers.
Membership of the ATMC signifies that a Travel Management Company has committed to an enhanced degree of professionalism and commitment to the delivery of the highest standards of customer service.
The ATMC Objectives:
•To promote business travel interests
•To develop and maintain by continuing review, a general accepted standard of conduct in the supply of services by Members to the business community and general public
•To maintain a forum for the exchange of ideas for Members
•To represent and facilitate an exchange of dialogue between Members, their principals and allied organisations
•To increase the opportunities for Members to further their business interests whilst maintaining full healthy commercial competition
•To identify the issues that affect business travel and establish a strategy to address those issues
•To be recognised as the peak representative organisation of business travel agents in Australia
•To act as lobby group for business travel agents
