Asociación Civil Creciente Cine Fértil is an NGO from Buenos Aires, Argentina that designs and implements strategies to promote cultural diversity by organizing film festivals, industry events and producing audiovisual content that act as ports for exchange, innovation and creativity for the diverse identities of the groups and societies making up humankind.
Cine Fértil has organized nine editions of the LatinArab International Film Festival (Argentina) and four editions of the LATINARAB Co-production Forum (Argentina, Tunisia), three editions of the LatinArab Sevilla Film Week (Spain) and two editions of the Amal Euro Arab Film Show (Arg.) and an Argentine Film Week in Amman (Jordan). They have also co-produced the three editions of the FICCBA Colombian International Film Festival of Buenos Aires and its ARCO - Argentine Colombian Forum of Audiovisual Co-Production, and the first Paraguayan Film Festival in Argentina, CINEPY.AR. We add a versatile itinerant program of festivals in numerous cities in the region and exhibitions, contributing to the development of an unprecedented stage of South-South film cooperation between the countries of both regions.
Cine fértil is proud to have been recognized with the declaration of cultural interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in 2018 and to have received on May 15, 2018, the UNESCO Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture in Paris.
