Artsaround

Artsaround is an arts-integrated program offered by teachers, artists and co-op students for elementary students. It connects primary and junior grades to the community through mentorship and apprenticeship in a fun, active approach to music, drama and creative movement using expectations from the Ontario Curriculum. It is a unique community partnership among local artists, co-op students and teachers to develop synergy in delivering an interactive learning experience for children. It is designed so that the arts can merge into core subject areas and other lifelong learning extensions through carefully designed lessons.
