Arts for Oakland Kids, formerly know as Oakland Fund for the Arts (OFFTA), raises money to fund hands-on art education programs in under-served Oakland public schools. Since founded in 1996, OFFTA has raised almost $500,000 and supported more than 130 programs in under-served Oakland schools.
Grants of $5,000 each are awarded for all types of art programs taught by local artists and educators who believe that the arts is an integral part of every child's education.
