‘WE WERE FORMED IN RESPONSE TO A MUCH NEEDED CULTURAL SHIFT IN THE LOCAL OFFSHORE ENERGY SECTOR’
A shift in such a manner warranted that a different mindset be cultivated among the various stakeholders. As a young and vibrant manpower provider we knew that this would require some bold moves but felt that we were strategically placed to successfully create that alternative way. In seeking the best vision, we discovered that the industry would be best served when all stakeholders work as partners.
In embracing such an approach, we were mindful of the volatility of the market place, the uncertainties of exploration and the level and quality of reserves and more importantly the physical risks to the personnel and the extensive range of skills involved. Stakeholders as partners offer a business model that suitably meets such challenges which encompass an activity upon which our local economy so heavily depends.
Early success came with the elimination of that spirit of confrontation which had long come to characterize the employer/employee relationship. This was replaced with an industrial relations climate favoring communication and cooperation and ushered in a win/win pathway to quality service and success.
Our employees’ have all responded positively to our call to constantly consider the industry’s future, and by doing so they have demonstrated the kind of strength and loyalty upon which good companies are built.
