Art Month Sydney

Our mission at Art Month Sydney is to secure Sydney's future as a thriving arts community – starting from the ground up. We want to add to the city's cultural fabric and encourage the enjoyment of art for all. The festival engages suburbs, galleries, and a broad demographic to ignite discussion and create pathways that inspire contemporary art lovers and collectors alike – both current and future. The result is a swell of visitation and appreciation from art enthusiasts across the city, providing a platform for emerging and established artists and stimulating the arts economy through sales and tourism. Art Month Sydney is operated by the Australian Art Events Foundation, which is a not-for-profit organisation.
