BRING BACK MUSIC TO LIFE
ARS MINERVA is a San Francisco based non-profit performing arts organization created in 2013 by Céline Ricci. Its mission is to introduce new ways to engage audiences by pioneering innovative solutions to bring new and younger audiences to the world of classical music.
Since its inception, Ars Minerva has already re-created two long-forgotten Venetian operas as Modern World Premieres in San Francisco.
In March 2015 Ars Minerva re-created La Cleopatra, composed by Daniele da Castrovillari, which was originally featured at the 1662 Venice Carnival season and never played since.
In May 2016, in its second year of operation, Ars Minerva re-created The Amazons in the Fortunate Isles composed in 1679 by Carlo Pallavicino.
