The company operates in Europe and Asia via its subsidiaries. Architectural Materials acquired Axis Sourcing, LLC in 2012 which allowed Architectural Materials to expand its network of design, engineering and production outside of the US. Axis Sourcing had successfully executed the development of architectural materials across a broad spectrum of materials and global markets from its founding in 2002. The firm’s unique production platform allows it to produce a large array of innovative materials and products in four categories including metal, glass, composites and earthen. Architectural Materials brand is Tactile Materials™ and include Tactile Concrete™, Tactile Glass™, Tactile Metal™, Tactile Composites™ Tactile Earthen™. The firm recently launched Tactile Hardware™ specializing in the design, engineering and production of custom door, cabinet and window hardware. The firm’s success creating materials and products for some of the world’s largest retailers lead to the formation of Tactile Retail™ focused on the development, engineering and production of materials for retail environments and point of purchase displays.
