Arborlawn Children'S Academy

PURPOSE To provide a Christian educational and enrichment program, which meets the needs of young children in the areas of spiritual, social, cognitive, emotional, and physical development, and to provide families a greater understanding of their child’s growth and development. CURRICULUM Arborlawn Children’s Academy uses Frog Street Curriculum, a research-based program that integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines. Each age level will have weekly or monthly thematic units targeting literacy, language, math, and science, as well as colors and shapes. Our PreK 3 and 4-year-olds will be introduced to a letter of the week. Learning will take place through learning centers and small group instruction. Our small class sizes ensure that each child receives individual attention. We also use Conscious Discipline for our classroom management and the social-emotional component of the curriculum.
