History of the University
The Applied Science Private University (University of All Arabs) belongs to The Arab International for Education and Investment (AIEI). It is located at the region of Shafa Badran, within the boundry of Greater Amman Muinicipality, on a land of (356) dunam area.
Education at the university commenced on 19 / 10 / 1991, after obtaining the lisence on 10 / 7 / 1989. The number of students who were registeredat that time reached (355) students. The number of faculties was only three, namely: the Faculty of Art, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Economics, with only (14) majors included.
After a quarter of a century from its launching,the university is proud to encompass eight faculties, namely: the Art & Humanities, Law, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Art & Design , Nursing, andInformation Technology. The university also includes the Deanship of Graduate Studies & Research, and the Deanship of Student Affairs. The number of majors studied at these faculties at the undergraduate level mounts to 27. As for the Master’s programmes, it include: Accounting, Marketing, International Relations & Diplomatic Studies, Pharmaceutical Studies, Computer Science, Nursing,Finance and Risk Management.
The university hosts within its campus around (7000) male and female students, from about (53) local, Arab, Muslim, and Foreign countries.
The university also provides for its students and the community training courses, which link theory to practice, arranged by the Center of Studies, Consultationand Community Service in cooperation with prestigious international training centers.
The academic power of the university is brought by embracing a constellation of competent faculty members; who had graduated from local, Arab, and foreign univarsities, of high and distinct scientific reputation. For this academic year 2016/2017, the faculty members reached (268) members, out of whom (197) are PhD holders.
