Annette's work is held in private collections in the USA, France, Hong Kong and the UK. She is a member of the 'Urban Contemporaries' Painting Collective, Co- Founder of the 'Drawn to Ink' collective and current resident curator at Spitalfields Studios.
Her visual style is influenced by comic books, pulp novels, and film noir, and explores the representation of people in everyday situations and the impact of film on identity. She has exhibited internationally in prestigious shows such as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and has won multiple awards, including the Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2014.
