Amirah, Inc. is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization that provides exit and aftercare services to people who have experienced sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, and prostitution.
Amirah’sw independent housing program and non-residential services are centered around three core aspects of recovery and independence: self esteem, economic stability, and communal connections. As a survivor-led organization, Amirah is committed to centering the voices of people with lived experience in the commercial sec trade and seeks to partner with those exiting as they look for opportunities to rebuild their lives. Amirah utilizes internal data with peer-reviewed research to educate communities, law enforcement, and peer service providers on the realities of prostitution and sex trafficking in the United States.
