AIMHS is non-profit organization created to educate professionals and the public. Our mission is to educate as many clinicians as possible and hopefully inform every heart surgery patient in the world that they are most likely are candidates for minimally invasive open heart surgery, and that they have options available to them beyond open chest procedures. Our goal is to work with heart surgeons around the world to provide them with access to video training on minimally invasive heart surgical techniques, a mentoring program as they learn and develop their skills, and the ability to shadow experienced surgeons in person in order to be trained in these life changing advanced procedures. We have seen in our daily heart surgery practice, the physical, psychological and financial benefits to our patients. In the next 5 years, we want these benefits to be widely available and wholesome for every patient nationally and internationally.
