American Blueberries is a berry marketing Firm owned by the Lewis Family and is based in Rocky Point, NC. American has been marketing fresh blueberries in south eastern North Carolina since the mid-1960's and blackberries since 2007. American proudly represents blueberry and blackberry growers from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and New Jersey, shipping fresh berries April through October. Our diverse operation offers premium quality berries. We are strategically located to offer one day service to east coast destinations. All of our berries are harvested packaged, and processed using state of the art technology as well as meeting all necessary Food Safety standards. We also have become a USDA APHIS certified cold treatment facility. With the Port of Wilmington's capabilities and our certification, North Carolina is becoming a destination for the import of year-round fresh produce into the U.S.
