Through ALFAMA FILMS Production, founded in 2006, Paulo Branco extends his commitment in independent film production (300 films produced so far), with famous directors such as David Cronenberg, Jerzy Skolimowski, Wim Wenders, Andrzej Zulawski, Benoit Jacquot, Christophe Honoré, Paul Auster or Mathieu Amalric, as well as emerging talents. ALFAMA FILMS also provides a distribution, international sales and publishing activity, mainly for the films it produces or co-produces, with a focus on collaboration and authors' follow-up.
