The Alda Center for Communicating Science empowers scientists and researchers to communicate their science in effective and engaging ways. Through professional development sessions and graduate programs, experts learn to share their work and its impact with other researchers, funders, students, media, policymakers and others. Founded in 2009 by actor, author, and activist Alan Alda, the Alda Center has worked with more than 20,000 researchers from around the world. The Center is housed at Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York. Learn more at AldaCenter.org.
