The Institute was established in Oxford, UK in 2006 as a means to facilitate the study of Arabic and traditional Islamic sciences for full-time students and working professionals. Through a combination of authentic Islamic scholarship and modern academic advancements, ASI delivers its pioneering Islamic Scholarship Programmes live online.
