Agroplant

AgroPlant was founded in 2012 and is planning to become the first producer and exporter of Aronia Berry in Kosova. Aronia is a plant belonging to the Maleae tribe of the Rosaceae family. The Aronia Berry finds a great usage in juices, jams, colorant for wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, syrups, and teas. The fruit is also used in pharmaceuticals products. Its benefits need to be presented in the market, especially in Kosovo market, since citizens are not aware of its taste and healing content. Aronia Berry trees will be planted by the end of year 2012, while the first sales will occur in 2014.
