AgriGenomics Hub (AgriGx) is a new world-class biotechnology research innovation facility which has been established to utilise biotechnologies in agri-food sectors.
Our purpose is to increase the R&D, product development and competitiveness of SMEs in agri-food sectors in Turkey with our unique and innovative portfolio of services and with high-tech machinery not found elsewhere in the region.
We support R&D sectors and the SME enterprise interested to transform new agri-food research or business ideas into commercial outcomes and we offer our expertise to provide information, training and partner projects on genomic biotechnology application.
Our organisation has two functional partners as the core management group. These are Technical Operational Partner, Ankara University, Agriculture Faculty, Evolutionary Genetics Laboratory [eGL], and the Administrative Partner as Ankara University Technopolis, supported by the Technology Transfer Office [TTO] within Ankara University.
AgriGenomics Hub (AgriGx) has been established in the scope of AgriGenomics Hub Project which is carried out under the Competitive Sectors Programme, financed within the framework of the financial cooperation of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
