African Union Sixth Region

African Union Sixth Region USA is the official African Union Diaspora Foundation established to facilitate the Africa Diaspora Initiative in America, in line with the Article 3(q) which invites the African Diaspora to participate as an important component in the building of the African Union with the sole purpose of building sustainable partnerships between the African continent and the African Diaspora through sustainable dialogue and effective collaboration with governments and peoples of different regions of the World in which the Diaspora populations are located; for the rejuvenation of the global African family as an instrument of wider renaissance; and ultimately to enable the African Diaspora increasing participation in the affairs of the African Union as observers and as the sixth region of the continent that would contribute substantially to the implementation of policies and programs.
