The Adirondack Ice Bowl started it’s inaugural pond hockey tournament in February of 2009 after a group of friends teamed together to fight mother nature for arguably one of the best times adult hockey players have had in the winter months.
Upstate New York has a place in hockey history with strong traditions, roots and rivalries that make it one of the most competitive hockey regions in the world. A number of friends, teammates and even former opponents teamed together in 2009 to hold the first annual Adirondack Ice Bowl. The Adirondack Ice Bowl gives adults the opportunity to feel like kids again and allows players to relive past rivalries.
