Active Training Consultants is a safety training and consulting organization specializing in OSHA training for general industry and construction and all other things safety-related. We offer training and consulting in many areas, including things like First Aid all the way up to OSHA-30. Our mission is to keep your employees safe and save you money while doing it! Owner and trainer Michael Burns has over 22 years of experience in safety, and offers a vast background of knowledge in procedures, guidelines, and safety programs. He understands that safety is not a luxury, but a necessity, and that defining and identifying safety issues before they cause injury is MUCH less expensive than gambling that nothing will happen. His trainings are informational, interactive, and fun! Michael's credentials include OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, Certified Michigan Firefighter, American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, Hazmat (operations level), safety work in law enforcement and corrections, associate's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement, and a bachelor's degree in behavioral science.
