An inspiring intercultural programme for young people with disabilities
Achieve 2B is a registered Charitable Trust.
What is Achieve 2B?
Achieve 2B is an inspiring intercultural programme for young people with disabilities, based in New Zealand. Facilitating National and International exchanges.
In today’s climate there is an absence of intercultural exchange programs that cater for the needs of young disabled people. They are denied a Once in a Lifetime experience!
Achieve 2B will proactively work with international exchange partners and disability service providers to ensure the required supports are in place to enable these students to participate and achieve fully.
The Trust was established to provide benefit to the community by advancing the education of people with disabilities. We aim to do this providing advocacy, information and support services to facilitate national and international inter-cultural student exchanges. The board is compromised of individuals from a range of backgrounds who have volunteered their services.
While on our programme students will:
- Be New Zealand Ambassadors
- Live and participate in another country
- Participate in voluntary service
- Be an active school citizen
- Become part of another family
- Have access to the supports they may require
Our Vision
To ensure young people with disabilities are given equal opportunities to participate in National and International intercultural exchanges.
Our Mission
To provide educational opportunities through intercultural exchanges that will have long-lasting transformational outcomes for its participants.
