Abracom is the entity that represents the sector of corporate communication companies. In 2022, it completed 20 years of existence.
The purpose of the association is to promote the culture of corporate and institutional communication, contributing to the expansion and strengthening of the market.
This sector moved BRL 3 billion in 2021, according to the Mega Brasil Comunicação yearbook, and already exceeds the mark of 17,000 professionals with the most diverse backgrounds working in multidisciplinary teams.
Abracom has state directorates, which collaborates for the dissemination of central guidelines and understanding of the many local realities with regard to the practice of corporate communication.
It is affiliated with the International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO), an entity that brings together national associations of corporate communication companies in 30 countries.
