The Abari Collective is an initiative by Richards Rwanda started in 2017 to empower Rwandan women through access to skill development, entrepreneurial training, and leadership development to achieve economic stability for themselves, their families and their communities.
The Abari Collective partners with public and private entities in Rwanda to launch strategically identified post-secondary skills training programs for women. We identify opportunities for new industry and invite expert trainers to engage with local institutions as they create and launch job readiness programs. The Abari Collective believes all new opportunity is informed by the generation of work that preceded it. We prioritize partnerships with organizations committed to sustainable economic development, and seek the blessing of community elders in everything we do.
