In the year 2020, with successive lock downs, physical distancing and anxiety about the future, Covid-19 exacerbated mental health issues for various groups. The most neglected and vulnerable populations being adolescent girls and women. AF thus launched a Toll-Free Counselling Helpline to combat the emotional distress.
