Peacock Media is the student-led organization at the American University of Paris that produces high-quality journalistic content for its print and digital platforms. Peacock Media encompasses the Plume, Magazine, Play, Podcasts & AUP Radio.
PEACOCK PLUME
The Plume is a time-sensitive news site that covers current events on the AUP campus, in Paris, and across the world. Staff writers come from a diverse variety of global backgrounds, and report in English on a wide array of current events spanning from politics and news to arts and culture. Relevant, current, and hard-hitting, The Plume adds a dynamic international voice to an increasingly powerful digital news community. Guided by student editors and faculty advisors, The Plume staff works to ensure a consistent flow of dynamic content to the AUP community and beyond.
PEACOCK MAGAZINE
The Peacock Magazine is a print magazine produced once a semester by a team of student journalists and photographers. Guided by student editors and a professional faculty advisor, the Peacock Magazine seeks to represent a diverse and international youth culture in Paris through long form op-ed and investigative pieces, with a focus on a variety of topics that range from global politics to food and fashion. Composed of a diverse staff, Peacock Magazine adds a global voice and perspective to the print media world in Paris and beyond.
PEACOCK PLAY
Peacock Play is a video journalism platform that produces dynamic video content several times a week, including in-depth interviews, investigative reports, and artistic videography.
PEACOCK PODCASTS
Peacock Podcasts is our newest sector. All podcasts can currently be found on Spotify under “Peacock Podcasts”. The first segment is entitled “Meeting AUP”, where students interview AUP professors, staff & alumni on their life experience in and outside of AUP.
AUP RADIO
AUP Radio runs every Monday-Thursday from 9-10pm on World Radio Paris. It is dynamic, consistent and unique!
