Asygn is based in Grenoble (French Alps), designing high performance electronics for sensors and RF applications. Asygn’s activity is backed by a high level of expertise and in-depth knowledge of high-resolution sensor interface, ultra-low power and RF design. Asygn recently launched the AS321x series, the first battery-free UHF RFID sensor chips. Fully compliant with RAIN RFID infrastructures (EPC Gen 2), the AS321x chips feature an analog interface for connection to external sensors and on-chip sensors such as temperature, strain, ambient light, humidity, motion or electrical contact. This IC family achieves state-of-the-art sensitivity including sensor bias and readout. Integrated on inlays without any additional components, it can transmit the acquired data to conventional UHF RFID readers over ranges of up to seven meters.
